Dr. E.J. Baker was born in Michigan and raised in Northwest Ohio where he earned his bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in chemistry at the University of Toledo. He is a graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Blue Pearl Specialty Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. He then pursued a residency in Emergency and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine.
