Dr. Alyssa Show was born and raised in a small community just south of Tallahassee, Florida. She knew she wanted to be a veterinarian since she was six years old when she witnessed her family’s foster dog giving birth. Dr. Show began her career working with animals as a kennel technician in high school and was then cross-trained as a veterinary assistant and receptionist throughout undergrad.
