Dr. Alex Hunter is thrilled to be joining the team at Animal Medical Center of McKinney and even more excited to be returning home to the North Texas area. Originally from Allen, sheβs proud to now be serving the community she and her husband grew up in. Dr. Christine New is a 2000 graduate of McKinney High School and a 2008 graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her interests in veterinary medicine are urgent and emergency care, soft tissue surgery, and wellness care. Dr. Amy Rippy received her Bachelors of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Texas A&M University, which she completed in 2007. She has been practicing in the Dallas area since 2009, and recently decided to work closer to her home in McKinney. Dr. Wesley Williams grew up in a small rural town in East Texas and figured out fairly quickly that he wanted to work around animals and eventually become a veterinarian.
